A weekend of tennis officiating


Food will be far from my mind the next couple days as I will be working the Tennessee State Qualifier Tournament in Murfreesboro, TN as a USTA official. The tournament will run for the entire weekend so there will be no time for trying new or old recipes.


The word of the weekend will be lots of sunscreen and tired legs. Standing and walking around for 10-12 hours straight with only minimal breaks is grueling to say the least. However, tennis is a great sport and being close to it is an important part of my life. 


I’ll get back to the subject of cookbooks next week—foot fault!
